In April 2024, Netflix will release an anime adaptation of the Brothers Grimm stories. The Grimm Variation, as the series is named, will tell their sister Charlotte’s story from her point of view as she muses on what happens to happily ever after.
A group of six mangakas known as Clamp collaborated to develop the upcoming Japanese Netflix Original animation series The Grimm Variations. George Wada is identified as the executive producer of the series, which is produced by Tokyo-based Wit Studio.

Once upon a time, the brothers Wilhelm and Jacob gathered folktales from all across the region and turned them into a book. However, the tale is not over yet. They also cherished their much younger sister, Charlotte, who was naive and inquisitive.
One day, as the brothers were reading Charlotte a fairy tale as usual, they noticed that her demeanor was somewhat dejected. “Do you think they actually lived happily ever after?” the woman asked. The Grimms’ Fairy Tales volumes by Jacob and Wilhelm are now presented from Charlotte’s point of view, as her interpretation of the stories differs greatly from her brothers’.

Charlotte Grimm is portrayed by Misato Fukuen. The actress’s most well-known part is from My Hero Academia, where she played the wildly famous Himiko Toga.
