It should not be shocking that Starz announced the release of BMF season 3 so soon after the second season of the show debuted in 2023. The successful television show draws inspiration from the real-life ascent to prominence of brothers Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi) and Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (Demetrius ‘Lil Meech’ Flenory) in Detroit in the 1980s.

Furthermore, season 3 showrunner Heather Zuhlke said of the show in an interview with Variety: You’re going to see the fallout, and somatically, every single one of our characters—Charles, Lucille, Meech, Terry, Bryant, and Jin—is going through a season of metamorphosis. Every one of these behaviors has repercussions. Thus, from now on, everything shall be acted out.

CAST OF THE BMF SEASON 3:

To begin, a little casting news. Mo’Nique will not be reprising the role in season three because Goldie passed away before the very end of the second season. The Precious actress may be gone, but some well-known actors are returning to guest star in the upcoming episodes. NE-YO (Stomp the Yard) as Rodney “Greeny” Green, Saweetie (Grown-ish) as Keeya, Dominique “Lil Baby” Jones as Payne, and Cynthia Bailey (The Real Housewives of Atlanta) as Gloria are among the cast members.

In Euphoria, Demetrius ‘Lil Meech’ Flenory played Big Meech; in All American, Da’Vinchi played Southwest T; in Fences, Russell Hornsby played Charles; and in Michole, Markisha, played by La La Anthony (The Chi), Briana White (Dead to Me), Laila Pruitt (Secret Headquarters) as Nicole, Steve Harris (The Practice) as Detective Bryant, and Kelly Hu (The Orville) as Detective Jin are among the cast members.
