Even though their roles in the Better Call Saul television series are over, Bob Odenkirk and Giancarlo Esposito are far from finished in Hollywood. Before the two could take a break, AMC has two shows scheduled for them: Esposito, the “Parish” series that will premiere in 2023, and Odenkirk’s “The Straight Man” Series.
Bradley Whitford, the Emmy winner from Handmaid’s Tale, will also star in the Parish series alongside Esposito. You already know how enormous The Parish series is going to be because the celebrity has been given a recurring role in it. The stories of a cab driver whose life is set to take significant turns are explored in the upcoming series by Danny Brocklehurst (The Stranger) and Sunu Gonera.
PLOT OF THE PARISH SEASON 1:
At this point, it’s unclear if the Driver and Parish series are two different series altogether, or if the names were changed. The Driver series was remade into the Parish series. Two crime lords tie themselves with a taxi driver in the Parish series. The New Orleans-based Zimbabwean mobster accepts Vince’s offer to drive him around.
The Horse, another name for the criminal, is well-known for his extortion of immigrants at US ports in the south. Soon after, The Horse had a falling out with Anton, the cartel leader of a well-known criminal group.
Given his keen mind and endearing demeanor, the police are unable to suspect Anton of engaging in illicit activities. Vince, the cab driver, becomes caught up in Anton and Horse’s battle, forcing him to search for a safe route out.

Danny Brocklehurst created Parish, an executive produced television series, based on his popular UK series The Driver. The following actors will be appearing with Esposito: Bradley Whitford (The Handmaid’s Tale), Bonnie Mbuil (Noughts + Crosses), Arica Himmel (Mixed-ish), Dax Rey (The Good Fight), Paula Malcomson (Ray Donovan, Deadwood), Skeet Ulrich (Scream, Riverdale), Bradley Whitford (The Nevers), and Amanda Brugel (The Handmaid’s Tale).
In addition to Esposito, Jim Poyser, Jolyon Symonds, David Morrissey, Josh Kesselman, Danny Sherman, Barry Jossen, Tana Jamieson, Theo Travers, and Nicola Shindler, the executive producers of the six-part series include Eduardo Canto and Ryan Maldonado. A+E Studios, Thruline Entertainment, and AMC Studios collaborated in its production.

The full Parish trailer for AMC’s latest crime thriller drama, which stars Giancarlo Esposito of Breaking Bad as a guy whose criminal history comes back to haunt him, has been released. The first episode of the series will air on AMC and AMC+ on March 31.
