The Big Cigar, an intriguing new limited drama series, debuted its first image today on Apple TV+. The history of Black Panther leader Huey P. Newton and his journey to Cuba is explored in this program. It is inspired by a notable piece of writing that shares the same title in a magazine.
Beginning with the first two episodes, The Big Cigar will have a global premiere on May 17. Viewers may anticipate fresh episodes every Friday until June 14 after the debut. Don Cheadle will direct the first two episodes of the series and act as an executive producer on the endeavor.
Disastrously, their plan—which is presented as a fictional film production—is based mostly on real events, despite encountering setbacks at every stage. Menchaca portrays Agent Sydney Clark, an Oklahoman lawyer with a tough exterior who went undercover.

In Oakland, California, in 1966, Bobby Seale and well-known African American activist Newton co-founded the Black Panther Party (BPP). The BPP evolved into a Marxist group that opposed police brutality, provided social services, and advocated for Black emancipation. Newton, a social philosopher with a doctorate, encountered controversy and legal issues throughout his life.
Despite the challenges, his contributions to the history of the civil rights movement are still extremely important. He tragically lost his life in an Oakland drug-related crime, leaving a difficult legacy of advocating for racial justice and community support.
