Interview with the Vampire’s second season is scheduled to debut on May 12, 2024, and it will continue where the first one left off. It comes right after the first trailer, which unveiled brand-new images from the forthcoming episodes. PLOT OF THE INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE SEASON 2:
In the second season, which takes place in 2022, vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (played by Jacob Anderson) tells journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) about his life. The plot continues where it left off in 1940 New Orleans, when Sam Reid’s character, Louis, and actress Delainey Hayles’s character, Claudia, planned to kill vampire Lestat de Lioncourt.
Louis recounts his travels through Europe to Claudia, describing his hunt for vampires in the Old World and his visit to the Theatre Des Vampires in Paris. Louis meets Armand, the vampire (Assad Zaman), for the first time in Paris. As Molloy digs into the secrets concealed in Louis’s recollections, their relationship and love affair have far-reaching effects on both the past and the future.
CAST AND CREW OF THE INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE SEASON 2:
In season two, Bally Gill, Roxane Duran, and David Costabile return in recurring roles alongside Ben Daniels, who takes over as the leader of Theatre Des Vampires. Executive producers Mark Johnson, Mark Taylor, Christopher Rice, and the late Anne Rice are led by series creator and showrunner Rolin Jones. AMC Studios is the show’s producer.

In the teaser, Jacob Anderson’s character Louis struggles with mixed feelings as he faces his own reality. Louis suffers from memories from his past coming back, along with his eternal lover Armand (Assad Zaman). Meanwhile, Eric Bogosian’s character, journalist Daniel Molloy, starts to rethink his own relationship with Louis as he learns more about Armand’s power.
The unrest is exacerbated by the lingering suspicion that Louis killed Lestat de Lioncourt, his creator and lover. But Louis’s most poignant recollections center on his complicated connection with Claudia, who is currently played by Delainey Hayles. Plans that Armand has for Claudia allude to a more complex storyline.

AMC’s growing Anne Rice world will include the second season of the show, which is scheduled to launch on May 12.
