Just over a month after the debut of season 2, Netflix renewed Young Royals for a third season in December 2022. The third season of the sitcom will be its last, the streaming behemoth further revealed.
Co-creator of the series Lisa Ambjörn told Netflix that a three-season run was always the goal. “I’ve always thought of Young Royals as a trilogy, and we get to tell the last one because of the fans’ unwavering support,” she remarked.
“I’ve known from the beginning that this story will end as intended, and I’m incredibly grateful and honoured to be able to do so,” she continued.
