Jennifer Hudson revealed that the programme has been renewed for a third season in the episode that aired on January 12.
JHud, who is currently nominated for a People’s Choice Award for Daytime Talk Show of the Year, broke down in tears as she thanked the audience for supporting her during the first two seasons of her show.
Since the September 2022 debut of the show, Jennifer Hudson has conducted interviews with the top stars in politics, sports, music, film, and television.
Jennifer has hosted a roundtable with Oprah Winfrey and the cast of “The Colour Purple,” conversed with Vice President Kamala Harris about significant issues facing Americans today, laughed with Oscar winners Viola Davis and Matthew McConaughey, and sat down with music icons like Smokey Robinson and Mariah Carey. She has also learned to swim with Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte.
With the show’s “Knock Star” series, she has shocked audiences across, welcomed viral sensations, and presented the tales of many community heroes.

In 2023, “The Jennifer Hudson Show” received six Daytime Emmy Award nominations, including one for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series. Jennifer also won the 2023 NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Host in a Talk or News/Information (Series or Special).
For her conversation with David Archuleta, the series was also recognised as a GLAAD Media Award Nominee for Outstanding Variety or Talk Show Episode.
Jennifer was also recognised as one of Glamour’s “Women of the Year” and People Magazine’s “People of the Year” during the first season of the show.
“There is nothing I love more than witnessing individuals unite in positivity, celebrating one another, sharing our humanity and stories, and learning from one another,” Jennifer remarked.
