The CW’s Superman and Lois has been a big hit in recent years. Since its premiere in 2021, the DC TV series, which was spawned out of the network’s Arrowverse, has seen tremendous popularity. It follows Clark Kent and Lois Lane as they strike a balance between parenting, rescuing the world, and taking care of their family in Smallville. A fourth season of the show is in fact in progress; the third season ended earlier this year. The CW gave it a season 4 renewal in the summer following months of speculation about its future. The network was at jeopardy because Superman and Lois were too expensive for Nexstar, the network’s new owners, who desired cheaper programming.

CAST OF THE SUPERMAN & LOIS SEASON 4:
The CW gave Superman and Lois a fourth season renewal, but with some important caveats. One of those requirements was a large cut to the core cast. Seven series regulars on the show were confirmed to be impacted by this news, including Emmanuelle Chriqui (Lana Lang), Dylan Walsh (Sam Lane), Wolé Parks (John Henry Irons), Tayler Buck (Natalie Irons), Erik Valdez (Kyle Cushing), Inde Navarrette (Sarah Cushing), and Sofia Hasmik (Chrissy Beppo). The good news is that most of them should return, either as recurring characters or as special guests. Ideally, they will all appear in at least three of the season’s episodes.
The other significant cast change is that Michael Cudlitz, who played Lex Luthor in two guest appearances in the final two episodes of season 3, will become a full-time member of the group, increasing the number of cast members to five for season 4.
