Our infatuation with reality TV meets real estate series was greatly influenced by Selling Sunset, and we like keeping up with all of the Netflix spin-offs that are produced. Of course, there’s Selling the OC, whose second season just become available on Netflix.
RENEWAL STATUS UPDATES OF SELLING THE OC SEASON 3
It’s official: a third season of Selling the OC will happen. Jason Oppenheim, who is also in charge of The O Group’s headquarters in Los Angeles, posted on Instagram back in January 2023, saying, “Netflix has just confirmed that Selling the OC will return for two more seasons! Prepare to sell seasons two and three of The OC and seasons six and seven of Sunset. I like to be busy, so let’s get started!”
PLOT UPDATES OF SELLING THE OC SEASON 3
With the release of the third season trailer, which features the couple arguing, we now know that a significant portion of the next season will centre on Tyler and Alex’s relationship disintegrating.
A rivalry between Sean and a few other agents, most notably Austin, is another development we anticipate. The two are seen exchanging heated words outside the Oppenheim Group office.
Gio claims he’s been “betrayed” by someone, Alex Hall and newbie Ali are also seen arguing, and Kayla is attempting to land the biggest transaction for the Oppenheim Group. Will we be dealing with another $75 million Davina home? We are eager to find out.
RELEASE DATE UPDATES OF SELLING THE OC SEASON 3
Prior to the confirmation of the second and third seasons in January 2023, the first season of The OC was made available for purchase on August 24, 2022. September 8, 2023, is the release date of the second season.
If this trend continues, the publication of Selling the OC season three should occur in August or September of 2024.
It is noteworthy, although, that Selling Sunset has not always adhered to the same schedule of releases; seasons that were shot consecutively experienced far shorter intervals between episodes. For instance, season 2 debuted in May 2020 and was swiftly succeeded by season 3 in August 2020.
Season 4 of Sunset was released in November 2021; season 5 came out in April 2022; and season 6 debuted in May 2023. Therefore, season three of Selling the OC should debut no later than a year from the release of season two, which debuted in September 2023.
We hope and suspect that we will be reunited with our OC cast much sooner than we initially imagined, especially since we have the season three trailer.
