Tatyana Ali co-stars with Donovan Christie Jr. and Ava Monet, a newbie, in the 1990s Atlanta-set film Perimeter. The Dawn family is the focus of the television show. Paige (Mone’t), the daughter, is a sophomore at Spelman College who gets sidetracked by bad boys. Her father, Councilman Robert Dawn (Christie), sacrifices a lot for his political aspirations in order to become mayor.
