A third season of the Emmy-nominated musical comedy Girls5eva will premiere on Netflix on March 14 since both forever and two seasons are too short. Creator, showrunner, executive producer, Emmy-nominated writer, and multihyphenate Meredith Scardino is back for the Universal Television series, as are executive producers Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, David Miner, Eric Gurian, and Jeff Richmond.
We are pleased to declare that Netflix will host a reunion of our reformed girl trio. We sincerely appreciate all of the streamers who enjoyed our musical comedy so much. In a joint statement released last year at the announcement of Season 3, the executive producers remarked, “We are extremely excited to present Dawn, Wickie, Summer, and Gloria to the worldwide Netflix viewership.”

CAST UPDATES OF GIRLS5EVA SEASON 3
The show centres on the four surviving group members in the present, while Emily in Paris actor Ashley Park plays the now-deceased fifth member of the group Ashley in flashbacks, with Erika Henningsen as Young Gloria.
ABOUT GIRLS5EVA SEASON 3
In the film Girls5eva, Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps, and Paula Pell play the surviving members of a 1990s one-hit wonder girl group who get back together in the present to try their hand at pop stardom once more, all while balancing adult responsibilities like debt, ageing parents, jobs, spouses, and shoulder pain.
Girls5eva is organising their comeback tour in Season 3. According to the description for Season 3, “the ladies pile into a van and hit the great unknown, doing their damnedest to promote their album and get back on top, with no plan, tour manager, or venues secured.”
In the process, Girls5eva will have to deal with being on the road, have their relationships tested, attend a birthday party for a billionaire, sow their oats, face the parents they feel held them back, run into the world’s biggest pop star, and decide if they truly want to be in the spotlight once more.
Will Girls5eva expedite their return and, in the process, sell their tour documentary? Or will they be destroyed by the road?
