The fugitives who turned Lincoln City upside down in the original Code 8 movie, Connor Reed (Robbie Amell) and Garrett Kelton (Stephen Amell), haven’t been heard from in a few years. 

These two are especially dangerous because, in the made-up universe where 4% of people are born with unique abilities, they are “PWPs” (people with powers) who utilise their abilities to perpetrate crimes. 

Code 8, a crowdfunded film that debuted in 2019 and raised over $2 million on Indiegogo, introducing viewers to the world of PWPs and the robotic police force that tracks them down. The thrilling Canadian original movie that picks up where the first one left off with the tale of Connor and Garrett is a sequel.

After Code 8 ends, Connor and Garrett part ways, but Code 8: Part II’s events bring them back together, changing everything forever. Director Jeff Chan stated, “I want Connor to really have to deal with the ramifications of his actions in Code 8.”

PLOT UPDATES OF CODE 8: PART II

The main character in the follow-up is a teenage girl who, after being duped by dishonest police personnel, wants justice for her brother’s murder. She joins up with a convicted felon named Robbie Amell and his erstwhile accomplice, Stephen Amell, to take on dishonest law enforcement officials who use cutting-edge robotic technology to hide their activities.

CAST UPDATES OF CODE 8: PART II

Stephen Amell and Robbie Amell are back from the first film, playing the same parts. Akiel Julien, Jessica Allen, Jean Yoon, Moe Jeudy-Lamour, Sammy Azero, Sarena Parmar, Alex Mallari Jr., Natalie Liconti, Jane Moffat, Aaron Abrams, and Noorin Gulamgaus are among the new cast members that are introduced in the sequel.

RELEASE DATE UPDATES OF CODE 8: PART II

Code 8, which began life as a YouTube short, was developed into a full-length movie in 2019 and became well-known when it debuted on Netflix in April 2020. 

A now-canceled TV series for Quibi was created as a result of the film’s more than two-week run in the US top 10. In June 2021, Netflix acquired the rights to a follow-up.
