The initial stages of the enigmatic zombie epidemic in Vegas saw Scott Ward and his rescue team working to safeguard everything they held dear. Most likely, the show will take place during the events of the opening credits sequence in Army of the Dead, in which Richard Cetrone’s character Zeus, a patient zero zombie, escapes from captivity and rapidly infects the people of Las Vegas.
The quick-witted introduction, which is accompanied by a rather sardonic version of “Viva Las Vegas,” depicts both the people who are fighting back against the horde of zombies and the zombie apocalypse that is engulfing Vegas. Vanessa Hudgens, Christian Slater, Jena Malone, Anya Chalotra, Ross Butler, Joe Manganiello, and Nolan North will all be joining them.
