Riot Games developed and published the well-known multiplayer online battle arena game League of Legends in 2009, which serves as the basis for Arcane. PLOT OF THE ARCANE (S02):
The origin tale of two legendary League of Legends champions—who also happen to be sisters—is told in Arcane. A growing conflict pits the utopian metropolis of Piltover and its downtrodden underbelly, Zaun, against Jinx (Ella Purnell, better known as Powder) and Vi (Hailee Steinfeld).
By the end of the first season, Powder has become the cunning Jinx and Vi has shown herself to be a champion you don’t want to mess with. Both characters have radically changed.
