As of this writing, Netflix has not revealed any information on Anthracite’s second season.
When deciding whether to keep or cancel a show, Netflix typically considers both the show’s critical and viewer success. Certain shows, like Bridgerton and One Piece, are renewed right away, while others, like The Watcher and The Victim’s Game, take years to renew.

We get a little sneak peek as Ida tweets that her dad’s video about the Ecrins cult is finished in the mid-credit sequence. Ida flees during the documentary’s interview because her team has discovered fresh CCTV footage of an enigmatic package.
Should the show be revived, extra content can be included thanks to this open ending. Alternatively, it could become an anthology of sorts, with Ida and the team investigating further cult-related cases.
