A new action-crime thriller that has been making the rounds of international film festivals, 24 Hours with Gaspar, has a global streaming launch date set by Netflix.
“24 Hours With Gaspar,” directed by Yosep Anggi Noen of Indonesia, will have its global premiere at the Busan Film Festival. It has been entered into the esteemed Jiseok competition. The creators first released the first trailer before that. The movie is based on the same-titled book written by Indonesian writer Sabda Armandio.
With just 24 hours to live, Gaspar, a private investigator, is the main character of the film. He discovers information regarding the enigmatic vanishing of Kirana, his childhood friend. He discovers a human trafficking ring thanks to the hints.

The dystopian action-crime film 24 Hours with Gaspar, which is based on the novel of the same name by Indonesian author Sabda Armandio and is set in the near future in Indonesia, stars Reza Rahadian (Innocent Vengeance) as Gaspar, a detective who has only 24 hours to live and intends to make the most of it by robbing a jewelry store with five other people.
Gaspar discovers some information about his childhood friend Kirana’s unexplained disappearance in the meantime, and this information leads him to Wan Ali (Landung Simatupang, Cigarette Girl), a criminal who is a part of a people trafficking organization.

Reza Rahadian (“Vengeance Is Mine, All Others Pay Cash”), Shenina Cinnamon (“Dear David”), Sal Priadi (“Vengeance Is Mine, All Others Pay Cash”), Dewi Irawan (“Anwar: The Untold Story”), Laura Basuki (“Before Now And Then”), Kristo Imanuell (“Big Four”), and Iswadi Pratama are among the film’s prominent cast members.
The film was produced by KawanKawan Media, Visinema, and Legacy Pictures. Cristian Imanuell of Visinema Pictures and Yulia Evina Bhara of KawanKawan Media are the producers.
Regarding the movie, Noen stated that he depicted a violently oppressed and poorly run society in a very violent film. He added that the picture captures the grim, worn-out feel of a city in disrepair.
The personalities are depicted in nuances that go beyond the traditional duality of good and evil, he continued. Furthermore, according to him, “24 Hours With Gaspar” depicts a dimly lit but hopeful period of time.
