RENEWAL STATUS UPDATES OF 100 DAYS TO INDY SEASON 2

Head of Unscripted content at The CW Network Heather Olander stated, “We are excited to bring another season of 100 Days To Indy to The CW and continue to grow our portfolio of quality sports programming.”

The previous season provided viewers with an unparalleled opportunity to see IndyCar racing behind the scenes before the year’s greatest race, the Indianapolis 500. We told the story of Josef Newgarden’s trip to the Indianapolis Brickyard, where he finished first in the last Indianapolis 500.

We are excited to spend another season following the amazing drivers and documenting every moment leading up to the race this year.

Josef Newgarden, the current Indianapolis 500 winner, comes back this season to defend his thrilling victory on race day. Rising star Pato O’Ward, former Indianapolis 500 winner Marcus Ericsson who finished second in 2023 thanks to an incredible last-lap pass and Series winner Alex Palou who led for 36 laps in the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” will join him.

One of racing’s biggest winners, Kyle Larson, will also make a unique run at motorsports glory in the 2024 edition of the Indianapolis 500. This will be his first time competing in the race.

“The Indy 500 offers a spectacle and intense intensity that is unmatched,” stated Mark Miles, President & CEO of Penske Entertainment.

Once more, The CW will offer viewers a front-row experience as the endearing NTT IndyCar Series stars pursue racing greatness. For spectators across the nation, it should be an exciting ride and a really captivating film.

This March, in St. Petersburgh, Florida, the 2017 NTT IndyCar Series season will begin. It will then go to the picturesque Thermal Club in Southern California’s desert for a brand-new $1 million challenge.

Six IndyCar races and the whole month of May at the storied Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be covered in 100 Days To Indy, which will document every step of the road leading up to the Indy 500.

Penske Entertainment is the producer of 100 Days To Indy. Co-executive producers Patrick Dimon and Adam Marinelli are both Emmy winners.
