Zendaya Creates History With ‘Euphoria’ Emmy Nomination: Latest Updates!!!

Zendaya Updates: With her most recent Emmy nomination for her performance in “Euphoria,” Zendaya is making history.The actress, who has a major part in the teen drama, received her second nomination for an Emmy, making her the youngest person to receive two nods in the history of the award.

She already secured the distinction of becoming the Emmys’ youngest ever producing nominee.She previously made history in 2020 for her work as Rue in “Euphoria,” becoming the youngest lead actress drama winner (she was 24 at the time) and only the second Black woman to ever win the award, after Viola Davis for “How to Get Away With Murder.”On Tuesday, the Emmy Awards released their list of nominees for the presentation in 2022. Additionally, Zendaya received two nominations for producing and writing the original lyrics for “I’m Tired” and “Elliot’s Song,” two songs that were featured in the film Euphoria.

Zendaya posted a message on Instagram after finding out about the nominations, expressing her joy. The actress shared a picture from the set and commented, “A highlight of my life has been creating this show with this cast and crew, who are all very amazing individuals from whom I have the honour of learning every day. Congratulations! I’m so happy to work with you.””All I can say right now is thank you from the bottom of my heart since I don’t have the words to adequately convey the love and gratitude I feel! It is an honour to share our concert with you, so thank you to everyone who enjoyed it,” she continued.Additionally, Zendaya thanked her team and crew for receiving nominations, including co-star Sydney Sweeney, who received a nomination for best supporting actress.”Thank you for everything, @samlev00; your efforts make this show what it is. We’ve been nominated for an Emmy once more, y’all,” she wrote.Following a group of high school teenagers in the hamlet of East Highland as they navigate identity, trauma, drugs, family, friendships, love, and sex, Euphoria is based on the Israeli television series of the same name, which was produced by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin from HOT.The live broadcast of the 2018 Emmy Awards will take place on September 12.
