Vivo S15 Updates: The Vivo S15 and Vivo S15 Pro are expected to launch in China on Friday, according to a post on Weibo by the company. The phones’ characteristics, as well as some photography samples, were also given by Vivo’s vice president Jia Jingdong (translated). Vivo’s future S15 series smartphones are expected to feature 80W charging. They have been confirmed to work with OriginOS right out of the box.
The standard Vivo S’15 is believed to include a 64megapixel triple rear camera, while the Vivo S’15 Pro is expected to have a 50megapixel triple rear camera. In the Vivo S’15 series, the Chinese electronics company recently released the Vivo S’15e model. Vivo confirmed the official launch date of the Vivo S’15 and Vivo S’15 Pro in China through a Weibo post. Meanwhile, Vivo’s vice president Jia Jingdong revealed that the forthcoming models will come with a flagship processor and support for 80W charging. They’re rumoured to be running on OriginOS. The Vivo CEO has also published some photography samples from the Vivo S15 series, in addition to the specifications. The photographic developments of Sony image sensors on the next phones are highlighted in these samples. The Vivo S15 Pro could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, according to previous leaks.
A 50megapixel sensor, an 8megapixel sensor with an ultrawide lens, and a 2megapixel macro snapper are expected to be included in the handset’s rear camera configuration. A 6.62inch AMOLED display is expected for the Vivo S’15. It’ll probably have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. A triple back camera setup with a 64megapixel main sensor, an 8megapixel shooter, and a 2megapixel sensor could be included in the handset.
