• Hexa pixel binning might be available on the Samsung ISOCELL HP2.
• In September of last year, Samsung revealed the ISOCELL HP1.
• In June, Samsung launched the ISOCELL HP3.

Today I am going to write about technology updates today: Supposedly, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will include a new 200MP camera.
According to a tip, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could have an undisclosed ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor with 0.60 m pixels. It is anticipated to be able to capture 8K 60fps films and provide hexa pixel binning for 208 megapixel photos.

The sensor is reportedly a member of the 200-megapixel family, which also includes the 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP1 sensor debuted in September of last year and the 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP3 sensor, an enhanced version of which was unveiled by the South Korean manufacturer in June.

Tipster Ice Universe has asserted once more that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra would include a 200-megapixel camera sensor, and he has stated that the company may be considering using a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor, which has not yet been revealed. He continues by stating that the pixels on this sensor will measure 0.60 m.

The 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP1 sensor with 0.64-m-wide pixels was announced by the South Korean manufacturer in September.
In June, it also debuted the 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP3 image sensor, which has the tiniest pixels in the industry (0.56 mm).
Another tipper claimed that the ISOCELL HP2 sensor would have RGBW pixels and hexa pixel binning (34.6 megapixels), which would result in photos with an actual resolution of 208 megapixels.

The manufacturer further asserts that the ISOCELL HP2 sensor has a 34.6-megapixel resolution, which is more than the 33.5-megapixel minimum required for recording 8K video at 60 frames per second or 8K HDR. Thus, the 8K 60fps video output on the Galaxy S23 Ultra is possible.

Additionally, there are rumours that Samsung filed a trademark registration for Hexa2pixel, which purportedly indicates that the South Korean business is already developing a 450-megapixel camera sensor. Samsung’s trademark application was discovered on TMView in Europe and KIPRIS in South Korea.

The Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23 Plus are most likely to accompany it. Currently, speculation is concentrated on the Unpacked occasion, which is planned for August 10.

At the event, the business will introduce products such the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Watch 5 series, and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
