He’s been sent to Sector 7G, where he’ll have to collaborate with Homer Simpson and his two friends, Lenny and Carl. Grimes is astounded by Homer’s laziness and incompetence. Mr.Burns chastises Grimes and reduces his pay after he prevents Homer from drinking a flask of sulfuric acid by knocking it from his hands. The acid spilled destroyed a wall.
Grimes is enraged and announces that they are now enemies. Following Moe’s counsel, Homer tries to make peace with Grimes by inviting him to a lobster feast at his house. In contrast, Grimes grows increasingly angered by Homer’s ability to enjoy such a comfortable life despite his sloth and ignorance, despite the fact that Grimes has worked hard his entire life and has little to show for it. Homer is called a liar by Grimes, who storms out.
