A portraitist holds a curator of art hostage and threatens to blow up a bomb if their demands are not met. Two interactive stories are featured in “The Gallery,” one in 1981 (with a female protagonist) and the other in 2021.

There are clear parallels and variations between the two events, yet both eras represent important times of sociopolitical instability in Britain. Making choices will help the viewer better comprehend and get away from their kidnapper.

However, it quickly becomes clear that these choices will affect not only the protagonist’s life but also the lives of others.

This interactive live-action (FMV) game includes the following:

– Choice-based mechanics with 150 possible paths and 18 different outcomes.
– A relationship-tracking mechanism that has a variety of effects on the overall plot.

– Monitoring the success or failure of supporting character-driven subplots that have an impact on the main plot in numerous ways.

– Two game modes: “Paused Choices” for audience engagement during live streaming and “Timed Choices” for a more intense, time-limited experience.

– Notable acting talent, includes George Blagden from “Vikings” and “Versailles” and Anna Popplewell from “The Chronicles of Narnia” as the two leads.

The writer-director Paul Raschid is also among the most active creators of live-action (FMV) video games in the world. The Complex and Five Dates, two of his prior full-length films, were released in 2020.

Release Date

The Gallery will be released in theatres as well when it comes in April 2022 for Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Switch, and mobile devices, allowing the audience the ability to play the game as a group.

This shows that there is room for that genre to transcend beyond your everyday typical gaming fare.
