To provide bass and generate a high-frequency response, Sonos’ new sound bar includes two mid-woofers, four Class-D digital amplifiers, and two tweeters. To play, pause, adjust volume, skip, and replay music, the Sonos Ray has capacitive touch controls on the body. A quad-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz powers it.

LED indicators for connection and mute status are also included on the soundbar. The soundbar can be used with the Sonos app, which is available on Google Play or Apple’s App Store, to change the bass, treble, and loudness, as well as access other services.

It has WiFi 802.11/b/g/n connectivity and can stream audio from Spotify Connect and Amazon Music, among other services. It comes with an optical cable that may be used to connect it to TVs or computers. Sonos Ray can decode Stereo PCM, Dolby Digital 5.1, and DTS Digital Surround audio formats.

The device supports the company’s True play tuning technology, which optimises sound based on the environment using an iOS device’s microphone. It also supports the Night sound feature, which lowers the volume of loud sounds while raising the volume of softer ones. Users can also connect the gadget to other Sonos speakers for multiroom audio. The soundbar is 1.95 kg and is 71x559x95mm.
