Sing 2: Bts song to feature in animated musical along with track Taylor Swift,  Bellie Elilish, drake and others !!!

Sing 2: BTS, the Kpop sensations, will have a song in the smash animated musical ‘Sing 2’. According to Collider, the sequel to the 2016 superhit film will have a starstudded lineup of songs from the Korean band, as well as Billie Eilish, Drake, U2, The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Cardi B, and others.

Bobby Cannavale, Chelsea Peretti, Halsey, and Eric Andre will join Matthew McConaughey, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reily, Resse Witherspoon, Taron Egerton, and Nick Kroll in the animated film’s ensemble voice cast.

Those who have seen the movie will know that the voice cast covers popular songs by singers and gives them a fresh peppy and funky spin.

Sing isn’t the only film to incorporate a KPop hit. ‘ 7’ published in February 2020, is also used in the Marvel film ‘Eternals.’ Jimin is listed as a cowriter on the song. The film ‘Sing’ depicts a bunch of animals competing in a singing competition for a grand prize. In the sequel, Buster Moon (a koala voiced by McConaughey) and his band of misfits will attempt to take their abilities beyond local theatre in order to perform at the world’s most prominent venue.

Moon and his team must first impress a formidable music magnate, wolf Jimmy Crystal, in order to be given the opportunity to perform on the world’s biggest stage. This involves getting Bono’s character Clay Calloway (voiced by him) to appear in the episode.The film marks Bono’s first appearance in an animated film. After the loss of his wife, lion Calloway becomes the world’s most reclusive rock legend.

Sing 2 is the followup to the 2016 film Sing. Matthew McConaughey, Scarlett Johansson, and Reese Witherspoon, among others, contributed their voices to the film. The trio portrayed Buster Moon, Ash, and Rosita, a koala, porcupine, and pig, respectively.


Sing 2 will be released over the Christmas season. On December 22, it will be released in theatres. The filmmakers will host a special premiere at the American Film Institute Fest before that. The date for the sneak peek is November 14.Illumination, the studio behind Minions, Despicable Me, and other animated films, is behind the project. Garth Jennings wrote the screenplay and directed the film.
