Return of Marvel Studios to San Diego Comic-Con.

San Diego Comic-Con Updates: Kevin Feige, president of the studio, revealed that the corporation will have a presence at the July pop culture expo during a virtual press conference held on Friday for the next feature picture “Thor: Love and Thunder,” according to Variety.

We’re thrilled to be attending Comic-Con next month. First time since we discussed this movie and many others on stage there three years ago. We are excited to go and talk about the future because, in my opinion, almost—not entirely, but almost—everything we discussed three years ago has now been released. Feige said this at the event.

Due to the Covid Pandemic, Diego Comic-Con Canceled its in-person conventions in July 2020 and July 2021

Marvel did not participate in the virtual Comic-Con@Home events that took the place of the July 2020 and 2021 conventions, despite a scaled-down Comic-Con taking place at the San Diego Convention Center over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2021. Since the first Iron Man panel in 2007, the growth of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been woven into the fabric of the yearly event.

There have been plenty of stunts, including Robert Downey Jr. dancing through the aisles and Natalie Portman shocking everyone in 2019 by holding Thor’s hammer, as well as the first “Mercury 7”-style, reveal of the Avengers cast (Joss Whedon sobbed, “I’ve had a dream my whole life and it was not this good”).

Studios and networks continued to make sales pitches, but they had the same impact as when celebrities appeared in front of throngs of cosplaying summer nerds who subsisted for five days on Red Bull and hot dogs from convention centers.

The Marvel films that might be teased during the convention include “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in November, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” in 2019, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” and “The Marvels,” as well as unreleased films like Mahershala Ali’s “Blade.”

“I Am Groot” and “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” both premiering in August, as well as “Echo,” “Secret Invasion,” “Ironheart,” “Armor Wars,” and “Agatha: House of Harkness,” are among the Disney+ shows that could attract attention. From July 20 to July 24, San Diego Comic-Con will be held. Thor: Love and Thunder, the upcoming movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is scheduled to debut in theatres on July 8.
