HERE ARE THE LATEST UPDATES OF THE SHOW CALLED RESURRECTED RIDES

Resurrected Rides, a new Netflix series, was revealed on Tuesday. On July 24, the auto makeover programme debuts. Along with Mike Odair and Brandon Killion, executive producers Ari Shofet and co-creator Rick Hurvitz of Pimp My Ride are behind the new show. 

Chris Redd hosts a group of mechanics that restore vintage vehicles. From 2017 until 2022, Redd was a cast member of Saturday Night Live. He most recently starred in Candy Cane Lane on Prime Video and the Peacock series Bust Down.

Hurvitz stated that Resurrected Rides will use the most recent technology available since Pimp My Ride to upgrade car makeovers. “We took the spirit and knowledge from the original and reimagined it with a hilarious host, brand new cast, plus the eye-popping technology and culture of today,” Hurvitz stated in a statement.

Shofet highlighted Redd’s comedic viewpoint. “This is an aspirational and wish-fulfillment show with a comedic lens, and we’re excited to give deserving folks a mind-blowing automotive makeover,” Shofet stated.

Resurrected Rides, which launches on July 24, combines the allure of the popular MTV series from the early 2000s with contemporary automotive artistry to assist worthy owners in turning their cherished beaters into roadworthy marvels. 

Comedian and actor Chris Redd (Saturday Night Live, Disjointed) will supervise the astounding changes over the course of eight episodes, working in tandem with his group of elite mechanics.

Executive producer Rick Hurvitz said, “We took the spirit and knowledge from the original [series] and reimagined it with a hilarious host, brand-new cast, plus the eye-popping technology and culture of today.” 

Executive producer Ari Shofet, who co-produced Pimp My Ride with Hurvitz, stated, “We’re excited to give deserving folks a mind-blowing automotive makeover. This is an aspirational and wish-fulfillment show with a comedic lens.”

Pimp My Ride, presented by rapper Xzibit, ran on MTV from 2004 to 2009 and gave rise to spinoffs in the UK and abroad. Eight forty-minute episodes make up Resurrected Rides.
