Resident Evil- Infinity Darkness Season 1: Release Date, Cast & More

Resident Evil- Infinity Darkness Season 1 Netflix has now announced the release of the First Animated Series of the “Resident Evil” franchise which is going to be streaming on it and “Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness” is one of the two animated series from the Franchise it will be making.

“Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness” is an Upcoming CGI animated Netflix original series whose episode count is not known yet and is directed by Eiichirō Hasumi. The show will be written and produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi who has also helped many of the Resident Evil movies and games, going right back to the beginning of the franchise.

From the sources and the trailer which got released, the series is going to be starring the two protagonists’ characters, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield from the franchises’ “Resident Evil 2”.

Netflix officially announced the two main characters being voiced over by Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello for the characters of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield respectively.

To a recent press release, Netflix has officially released the storyline of the series which is set in 2006, where some illegal access to the president files were reported because of which a group of officials including the American Federal Agent, Leon S. Kennedy was called off from the white house for further investigating upon the issue where a sudden power cut forces them Leon and the SWAT team, to face a horde of mysterious zombies appeared out there meanwhile TerraSave Staff member Claire Redfield encountered with the mysterious image drawn by some youth all way back when she visited the country for providing support to the refugees out there. The images haunted Claire to the level where she herself started investigating inspecting the image to be of some victim of viral infection.

As Claire visited Whitehouse the next morning with the request to reconstruct the welfare society, she got a chance to meet Leon on the way to whom she showed the image she had.

Leon immediately realized that there must be some connection between the white house getting attacks from the zombies and the boys’ picture but he denied any relation between the two to Claire and leaves. After which both of them face zombie outbreaks at different locations that lead to events that shake the nation to its very core.

To know what, I guess we’ll have to wait for the series to get released.

Release Date & Trailer Update

The official trailer of the series has already been out by Netflix featuring the two protagonists visiting the White House and facing off zombie outbreaks but there are yet no official dates announced for its release.

Till now we just know that the series could be released sometime near July 2021.
