Rebel Moon Updates: Zack Snyder fans may now get a first look at his next project. The director has unveiled the first concept art for his next Netflix feature Rebel Moon, as well as a tentative start date for principal filming. The graphic depicts a horde of characters, each wielding a weapon and marching towards the camera. A crimson light emanating from the figures’ suits is one of the most prominent characteristics.

The peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy is besieged by the soldiers of a dictator named Belisarius in Rebel Moon. Desperate for help, the colony sends a young woman with a secret past to find warriors from other planets to assist them in making a stand. Sofia Boutella will play the lead in the movie. Snyder will direct and produce Rebel Moon, which he also co-wrote the script with Kurt Johnstad and Shay Hatten, with a story by Snyder and Johnstad.
