Omega Seiki Partners With Agri Junction Ti Deploy 10,000 Electric Vehicles To Cater To Rural Market Demand!!!

Omega Seiki Updates: By the end of the current fiscal year, Omega Seiki, which has its headquarters in Faridabad, expects to introduce electric two- and three-wheelers.

By the end of the current fiscal year, Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) and Agri Junction plan to deploy over 10,000 electric two- and three-wheelers in rural areas.

According to a joint press statement from the two companies, the first phase of the introduction of these cars would be in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra’s Tier II and III markets.

The passenger electric three-wheeler Stream, light commercial vehicle M1KA, and electric three-wheeler Rage+ are all part of Omega Seiki’s product line, which has its headquarters in Faridabad.

The firm announced that in order to meet the need of the rural market, it will be deploying the Rage+ range and Stream as well as a specialised new product line-up, including the e-two-wheeler Mopedo, Stream City, drones, and tractors.

According to a press release, Agri Junction, a website that sells agricultural products, would assist with vehicle deployment, the listing of OSM vehicles on its website, giving customers access to loans through the PM Mudra Yojana, and putting up EV infrastructure, among other things.

In contrast, OSM will supply EVs, put up charging infrastructure, and organise an R&D team to create new goods specifically for India’s rural markets.

According to Uday Narang, the founder and chairman of OSM, “OSM is testing its electric tractors in its Korea and Thailand R&D centres and will be bringing new concepts of tractor as a service and leasing for the tier II and III markets by 2023.”

In 10 rural cities in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, Agri Junction is a supplier of agricultural seeds, insecticides, fertilisers, machinery, and equipment.

It was revealed on Thursday that the government is getting ready to release a smartphone app for owners of electric vehicles.

ACCORDING TO REPORTS, THE SUPER APP WOULD PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE AVAILABLITY AND LOCATION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS IN REAL- TIME 

Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL), a state-run company, and the government are collaborating to create the app.

The app will display charging station cost details and enable users to book and modify reservations at nearby stations.

According to CESL, 810 electric vehicle charging stations will be installed across 16 motorways and expressways.
