On Wednesday, the Nubia Z40S Pro was released in China. It is an improved version of the Nubia Z40 Pro, which was introduced in February and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. A Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC powers the brand-new Nubia Z40S Pro.
This smartphone is focused on photography and has Nubia’s NEOVision camera technology.

Nubia Z40S Pro Cost and Accessibility
Four variations of the Nubia Z40S Pro (80W + 5,000mAh) are available. Priced at CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs. 4,000), the entry-level 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option is less expensive than the top-tier 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model (roughly Rs. 55,000).
A 120W + 4,600mAh model of this Nubia smartphone with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage is available for CNY 4,299 as too (roughly Rs. 51,000). Additionally, it features a CNY 6,699 18GB RAM + 1TB storage option (roughly Rs. 80,000).
These variations are all available in Magic Green and Night Sea colour schemes. There is also a Nubia Z40S Pro Ling Cage Edition with a unique look and tailored user interface. The 12GB RAM + 256GB variant costs CNY 4,699, or around Rs. 56,000.
Features and Specifications
A 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixel) AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling, and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits is featured on the Nubia Z40S Pro.
The selfie camera hole punch slot is positioned in the centre of the display, and a fingerprint sensor is integrated beneath the display. A Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage power this smartphone.
This phone has three back cameras, with the 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 main sensor and f/.6 aperture taking centre stage. In addition, there is an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 116-degree field of view.
The rear camera system supports up to 8K macro photography and 4K video recording at 120 frames per second. Additionally, it has a flicker sensor and a 6 LED flash for photography in artificial light.
