Midnight Mass Season 1: Update On Release Date & What we know so far

Midnight Mass Season 1, Mike Flanagan’s upcoming Netflix series, has a release date and a debut trailer! Flanagan was also the creator of The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor, so this is wonderful news for fans of both series. Flanagan’s fourth Netflix production will be Midnight Mass. This project has ties to two earlier Flanagan films, Hush and Gerald’s Game, according to Bloody Disgusting.

Maggie Young penned the book Midnight Mass for the film Hush, and it was then adapted into Gerald’s Game. Mike Flanagan, the director, and creator of The Haunting of Hill House is bringing another amazing new horror series to Netflix: Midnight Mass. Here’s the latest on Netflix’s upcoming horror epic, which will debut in September 2021.

The Cast Of Midnight Mass Season 1

The cast in Midnight Mass is outstanding! Kate Siegel, Annabeth Gish, and Henry Thomas, all of whom appeared in The Haunting of Hill House, will reprise their roles for this series. Zach Gilford, Hamish Linklater, Michael Trucco, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Abburi, Crystal Balint, and Matt Biedel will also be appearing in Midnight Mass with the trio. Alex Esso and Robert Longstreet, both of whom appeared in Flanagan’s previous feature Doctor Sleep, have joined the cast.

Release Date Of Midnight Mass Season 1

Despite the nationwide COVID-19-related shutdowns in 2020, Flanagan found a way to continue filming on Midnight Mass. We had hoped for a release date in August 2021, a year after production began. Because of the Halloween season, we decided October would be a wonderful time. Midnight Mass will premiere on Netflix on 24th September 2021, according to a recent announcement.
