Love After World Domination: Love and hate are often thought to be closely related emotions. People have a proclivity for hating things, and it’s all too simple to feel enraged by something they adore. However, there is no bad blood between the tragic pair from “Love After World Domination.” Perhaps this wouldn’t be so shocking if the couple in question weren’t also bitter rivals.

This new anime from studio Project No. 9aims to depict a fascinating and funny love story about two people on opposing sides of a hero and villain battle, based on the2019 manga of the same name by Noda Hiroshi and Takahiro Wakamatsu. “Love After World Domination” might be the next major romance anime, with a predicted release time already set, a huge cast list, and an intriguing plot centred on star-crossed lovers. With that in mind, here’s all we know about the upcoming anime thus far.

Much of the plot for “Love After Domination” should be clear by now. The show follows Fudo and Desumi as they try to manage their relationship with their professional lives. Going from genuine street warfare to being affectionate is a distinct effort. These two, on the other hand, seem to be able to make it work, one day at a time.

But don’t let it fool you into thinking they’re gentle with each other. If anything, the trailer demonstrates how serious these two are about their respective roles as hero and evil. Desumi longs for the day when Gekko dominates the entire world, while Fudo wishes for world peace. They don’t pull any punches when it’s time to fight (well, maybe a little, sometimes). It’s just that, at the end of the day, they’re still madly in love with one another.

Love After World Domination

Two star-crossed lovers are at the center of “Love After World Domination.” The first is Fudo Aikawa, aka Red Gelato, a “Power Rangers”-style tokusatsu hero. As the leader of the Gelato 5, Fudo battles the wicked Gekko organization. Desumi Megahara (aka Princess of Death), one of Gekko’s most prominent henchmen, has swept him completely off his feet. Yusuke Kobayashi and Ikumi Hasegawa play the two characters (via ANN). Fumihiko Tachiki is the narrator of their narrative.

Of course, they aren’t the only ones. The term “Gelato 5” denotes that Fudo’s team consists of four additional heroes. Blue Gelato aka Hayato Oji (voiced by Kazuyuki Okitsu), Yellow Gelato aka Misaki Jinguji (Nene Hieda), Green Gelato aka Daigo Todoroki (Junji Majima), and Pink Gelato aka Haru Orisugawa are the other Gelatos (Rina Hidaka). Professor Big Gelato, a scientist, is also a supporter of the group (Chafurin). These six team up to fight Gekko’s evil forces while remaining blissfully oblivious of their leaders’ shady dealings.

Meanwhile, some genuinely out-of-this-world baddies occupy the evil side. Supreme Leader Bosslar, Gekko’s leader, is about as stereotypically nasty as they come. Tomokazu Sugita provides the character’s voice. This isn’t to say that his henchmen, such as Culverin Bear (Hiroki Yasumoto), Princess of Steel (Hisako Kanemoto), and Princess of Magical Beasts (Hisako Kane moto), aren’t equally evil (Kana Hanazawa).

According to Anime News Network, the “Love After World Domination” anime was initially announced by Kodansha in the May issue of Monthly Shonen Magazine in April2021. Since then, the anime has disclosed numerous cast members and released a teaser video, indicating that it would be released in 2022.

On August 24, anime streaming provider Funimation announced that, in addition to its pre-existing broadcasting schedule on Japanese television, it would be in charge of presenting the series to an international audience. This is great news for anime fans because it suggests the series will most likely be simulcast. In other words, once new episodes air in Japan, they will be available on Funimation. The main disadvantage is that Funimation has not stated whether the show will be dubbed in any other languages. This is obviously not essential for anyone outside of Japan to appreciate anime, but it does help many fans who prefer to watch series in their own language. Unfortunately, if they are set on viewing a dubbed version, they may have to wait longer than the rest of the “Love After World Domination” fan base.
