The sequel to ‘Godzilla versus Kong’ is in the works and will be filmed in Australia in 2022. According to recent speculations, a Godzilla vs Kong sequel is in the works. Later this year, it will be shot in Australia, where the original and other films in the franchise were made.

According to Variety, Godzilla Vs Kong will be shot in Australia. The Gold Coast, which served as the backdrop for some of the Monsterverse‘s previous films, including Kong: Skull Island in 2016 and Godzilla vs Kong in 2019, will also serve as the site for the new project.

The shooting was also expected to take place in the state of Southeast Queensland.The film will get A$16 million ($11.8 million) from the Australian Federal Government’s Location Incentive Program. Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy will offer the filmmakers with an additional A$6.3 million ($4.66 million).
