KALKI 2898 AD

HERE ARE THE LATEST REVIEW UPDATES OF THE MOVIE CALLED KALKI 2898AD

The basic plot of “Kalki 2898 AD” is a futuristic fiction concerning the coming of the tenth incarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu. However, for three hours, it is set in an enormous, futuristic scene that simultaneously excites, perplexes, and wears out the audience. FILM

The dystopian, mythical science fiction is a vast, immersive experience that features a plethora of characters and cameos that are difficult to follow in terms of their arrival and significance.

The year “Kalki” is 2898 AD, more than 800 years in the future. Kamal Hassan’s character, Supreme Yaskin, governs humanity in Kasi, the final city on a severely resource-depleted Earth, from a building known as the “Complex.” SUM80 (Deepika Padukone) is one of the fertile girls who his tribe take advantage of.

A long time has passed, and the legendary Ashwathama (Amitabh Bachchan) is still waiting for his deliverance. In the city of Shambhala, another group of people is preparing an attack. A strange guy caught in this web is Bhairava (Prabhas), an unbeatable bounty hunter.

The film by director Nag Ashwin can be quite a spectacle for people who enjoy intricate world-building, apocalyptic narratives, and the retelling of mythological events on enormous canvases. The astounding production quality is equally astounding.

Amitabh Bachchan is the one who steals the show since he is on his game. Although Deepika plays a de-glam lead character the entire time, she gives SUM80 a personality that fits. The list of celebrities who have cameos includes Kamal Haasan, Dulquer Salmaan, Anna Ben, Shobhana, Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur, Rajamouli, and Ram Gopal Varma.

However, not all of them have had excellent follow-through. Though Big B’s antics are more remarkable than those of the rebel star, the combat scenes between Ashwathama and Bhairava are entertaining. In this Prabhas movie, Amitabh Bachchan shines more than the Telugu star. The film’s humour is largely unsatisfactory, particularly during Prabhas’ scenes.

Although the authors’ artistic licence is intriguing, it’s difficult to empathise with or become emotionally attached to any of the characters. The franchise-hungry audience is given hope by the closing titles.

And watch the movie if you want to give the “Kalki” cinematic universe a chance. Even though the film ends on a cliffhanger, what if the second part, which has a deeper universe and is stronger, ends on a note that makes you care?
