Jerry And Marge Go Large Updates: According to Deadline, a true story about a couple of small-town citizens who won large in the lottery is in the works for a Paramount+ release. The film library of the relatively new streaming service, formerly known as CBS All Access, is being built. Currently, Paramount+ is most known for television shows such as “The Good Fight,” “The Twilight Zone” relaunch, and the more recent “iCarly” resurrection.

JERRY & MARGE GO LARGE is based on the actual story of Jerry Selbee, a retiree who discovers a mathematical loophole in the Massachusetts lottery and wins millions with the help of his wife, Marge, and uses the money to revitalize their little Michigan town.

The film’s main material, Jason Fagone’s “Jerry and Marge Go Large,” tells the story of Jerry and Marge Selbee, a couple from a small Michigan village who won $7.75 million by playing the lottery.

Jerry, a naturally bright mathematician, decided to look into the logistics of the lottery after retirement to see if he could apply arithmetic to the procedure to assist him boost his odds of winning — and he did. Jerry discovered a loophole in the roll-down system, which applies when there is no jackpot winner (one who correctly guesses all six numbers) and the prize money trickles down to the lower tier winners, allowing for higher earnings for lower tier winners in the absence of a jackpot winner, as long as enough money was invested.

Larry Wilmore, Rainn Wilson, Anna Camp, Ann Harada, Jake McDorman, Michael McKean, and Uly Schlesinger join Cranston and Bening on the cast.

Gil Netter, Levantine Films, and Kevin Halloran executive produce Jerry and Marge Go Large, with Amy Baer producing. It’s a collaboration between Paramount Players and Landline Pictures of MRC Films.


It will premiere on June 15, 2022, at the Tribeca Film Festival, then on June 17, 2022, on Paramount+.
