Inmate To Roommate Release Date, Cast, Plot, and Other Details

Inmate to Roommate, a new A&E Network series, will be the subject of my article today.

Inmate to Roommate, a new A&E documentary series, will follow newly released convicts as they reintegrate into society by residing with people they hardly know.

A group of ex-cons is shown adjusting to their new living conditions in the series’ teaser.

One former prisoner looks at the seemingly unending list of house rules and wonders, “What the heck did I get myself into?” You don’t have to go home, but you have to leave here, a lady shouts later in the trailer.

The show’s official synopsis is as follows: “Each of the former inmates will bring their own baggage to their various housemates and their new living situation. As each of them is scrutinized by friends and family who are unsure of their motivations, the chances and difficulties are complicated.

Will the recently released be able to effectively reintegrate society under the current circumstances, or will it be the worst choice either party has ever made?

The show is created for A&E by Sharp Entertainment, a division of Sony Pictures Television.

Matt Sharp, Dan Adler, and Laura Korkoian are the executive producers for Sharp Entertainment, and Joseph Ruzer serves as a co-executive producer. Executive producers for A&E include Jonathan Partridge, Shelly Tatro, and Elaine Frontain Bryant.

Returning for a brand-new season, “60 Days In” secures the 800-inmate Henry County Jail in Georgia, just outside of Atlanta.

Seven people who were previously incarcerated are being recruited by the recently elected Sheriff Reginald Scandrett to go undercover in an effort to gather important information that will help improve jail conditions. Scandrett ran on a platform of improving the jail and lowering recidivism.

For the first time in the history of the series, every participant had previously been detained for their own crimes, and they have all accrued more than 40 years of incarceration between them.

Will these formerly jailed volunteers be able to handle the hardships of returning to prison or will they be overwhelmed by everything that is thrown at them during the voluntary spell in jail?

Lucky 8 is the producer of “Inmate to Roommate” for A&E Network. Greg Henry, George Kralovansky, Isaac Holub, Kim Woodard, and Mike Colon are the executive producers of Lucky 8. Brad Holcman, Shelly Tatro, and Elaine Frontain Bryant serve as executive producers for A&E.

Release Date

After the new season of 60 Days In airs at 9 pm ET/PT on Thursday, August 18, Inmate to Roommate makes its A&E debut at 10 pm ET/PT.

The above list contains the most recent episodes of Inmate to Roommate, a season 1 television series on the A&E network.
