  • Two months after iOS 16.1 was released, iOS 16.2 may be released.
  • The October hardware launch event was missed by Apple.
  • There are already beta versions of iOS 16.2 and iPad OS 16.2.

Today I am going to write about  technology updates today: iOS 16.2, macOS Ventura 13.1, and iOS 16.3 may be released by the middle of December. Gurman.

As part of its most recent set of software updates, the Cupertino, California-based iPhone manufacturer last week sent beta versions of iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2, and macOS Ventura 13.1. For the deployment of these software updates, the business is reportedly aiming for mid-December.

Even though Apple won’t be releasing any new hardware this year, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reports that it still might be releasing additional software updates. According to him, iOS 16.3 and macOS Ventura 13.3 could be released in February or March of 2019.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman writes in his weekly Power On newsletter that the iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 updates, which started going out to beta testers last week, “should be published in mid-December.”

The improved 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, which are anticipated to run on macOS Ventura 13.3 and iOS 16.3, will reportedly be released in the first quarter of 2023, according to Gurman.

According to Gurman, the release dates for those software versions (iOS 16.3 and macOS Ventura 13.3) are early February to early March.

Previously, Gurman had projected that Apple will forego holding its annual October Event since the company reportedly only makes mundane incremental updates that do not need a formal digital or physical event. During its event in October, Apple regularly releases new iPad and MacBook models.

The Cupertino business disclosed that this update contains a patch to fix a previously discovered zero-day operating system vulnerability, which the company acknowledged may have been actively exploited.

Exploits known as zero-day vulnerabilities are those that are found by outside sources, such as security researchers, before the original development team is aware of them.

Developers and public beta testers can currently download iOS 16.2, and customers should start receiving the update in the upcoming weeks.

However, Apple has not yet made any official announcements or issued iOS 16.3 to developers or beta testers, and the company has not yet provided information about when exactly the mobile operating system will be made available to people.
