Shueisha’s Grand Jump Mecha published Kurosawa R’s original comic series “Goldfish Wife.” Is their relationship a betrayal or a fate? What is the secret of the crossing-the-line wife? The series is based on a forbidden adult love storey.

The series follows six women who, for various reasons, conduct affairs with one another. Hiraga Sakura, played by Ryoko Shinohara, is mistreated physically, verbally, and mentally by her husband Takuya, played by Masanobu Ando, in “Fishbowl Wives.” She finds comfort in the arms Takanori Iwata plays Toyota Haruto, the manager of a small goldfish shop where she meets him while hunting for a new pet.

Fumi Tsubota, Tomomi Matoba, and Miyako Koshikawa wrote the screenplay, which was directed by Michiko Namiki, Hiroaki Matsuyama of Fuji Television, and Aya Narakino. Naomi Sato and Tadashi Makino of Fuji Television, as well as Toshiyuki Nakano, Kiyomi Asano of Fuji Television, and Kazuhiro Kobayashi of Fuji Television, serve as executive producers.

WHAT IS THE STORY ABOUT IN THE FISHBOWL WIVES SERIES?

Sakura Hiraga (Ryoko Shinohara) abandons her dream after an unfortunate incident. Her husband manages a hair business, and she is now married. They have a penthouse apartment in a beautiful building. Her lifestyle appeared to be spectacular, and everyone admired her. Sakura Hiraga has been physically and verbally tortured by her husband, and she has no way of getting away from it. Sakura Hiraga imagined herself as a goldfish in a bowl of water. She meets a man one day after getting a goldfish.

The trailer begins with a group of women as the title “A storey about six wives and their affairs” appears on the screen. “Why are these spouses crossing the line?” There is some intense and steamy sexual behaviour after that, as well as flashes of domestic violence.

Sakura Hiraga (Ryoko Shinohara) is a character in the series who resides on the top floor of a high-rise condominium complex with a traditional ambiance overlooking a metropolitan region. She abandons her dream after an accident, marrying the owner of a beauty business. Her life as a homemaker now gleams with a lustrous sheen that would make anyone jealous. Her heart, on the other hand, is broken when she is alone.

She used to admire her spouse, but now she is subjected to cruel words and physical violence. Sakura is unable to leave her marital house and spends much of her time with the “goldfish” in her bowl. The “goldfish” eventually leads her to a man. Sakura crossed the line when she accepted it for what it was. Is this a one-time occurrence? Is it chance or fate?

The series is based on Kurosawa R’s popular original Japanese comic series “Goldfish Wife,” which is presently available through Shueisha’s Grand Jump Mecha.
