Faraday Protocol is a game in which you take on the role of archaeologist Raug Zeekon, who has discovered a mysterious space station filled of puzzles. Assuming it’s a testing station, Raug utilizes the BiaGadget, a tool he discovered on the space station, to solve riddles and explore this strange new world.
Faraday Protocol: Game Play
Faraday Protocol is a first-person puzzle game that will put your curiosity and acute sense to the test. You are Raug Zeekon, a Cunorbased interplanetary archaeologist. Your organization has dispatched you to examine the source of a particular signal emanating from an uncharted star system. I’m not sure I’ve ever played as an alien archaeologist before, but that’s exactly what you’ll be doing in Faraday Protocol, a first-person puzzler set on a strange extra-terrestrial space station named OPIS. You’re only equipped with your wits and a ray cannon that can “absorb and transfer energy.
“You can use orange energy to activate and deactivate electrical lines and gadgets, or blue energy to bridge and reroute them,” according to the release. In the trailer above, you can see some examples of how that works. It appears to primarily allow you to establish luminous blue linkages between puzzle pieces in order to activate switches.
I’m interested in the eerie Egyptian minimalism architecture. We’ll also get to see Art Deco “Ziqqurats,” according to the release. They appear to be brimming with tactile sculptures and, better yet, jump pads. Red Koi Games, a five-person development team, is working on the game. Faraday Protocol will be released in 2021. In the interim, here are a couple of dark screenshots.

The studio began with two people and quickly grew to five devoted and accomplished developers and artists with over 17 years of software development experience. The so-called BiaTool is used to answer the OPIS riddles.
Raug can use this alien utility to absorb and transfer various types of energy, allowing him to activate and manipulate the space station’s machinery.
