Mendes appeared on ‘The View’ and stated that her return to acting will be subject to certain conditions. “With four kids, I have such a small list of things I want to do,” Mendes said. “If it was a fun project, that is.” But now I’m not going to do violence or sexuality; the list is short.
Sunny Hostin of ‘The View’ asked Mendes if she would return to acting if a “special project” came her way that fit all of her criteria, to which the actor replied, “I hope so.” Mendes’ most recent film appearance was in Patricia Riggen’s 2012 drama ‘Girl in Progress.’

Now that filming on the last two-part instalment of the ‘Fast and Furious’ trilogy has begun, rumours have circulated that Mendes would return. Mendes first appeared as Monica Fuentes in the 2003 sequel 2 Fast 2 Furious,’ then returned for an uncredited cameo in 2011’s ‘Fast Five.’ Filming on ‘Fast X’ has begun, with filmmaker Louis Leterrier replacing original director Justin Lin behind the camera.
Mendes is unattached to a celebrity. Mendes has kept busy with several fashions and cosmetics endeavours throughout her nearly decade-long acting hiatus. She and Gosling have two daughters together.
