Death Note is a Japanese manga series which is written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. Manga series was published by Shueisha and the English publisher is Madman Entertainment and Viz Media. Anime TV series was directed by Tetsuro Araki and written by Toshiki Inoue. This anime was produced by Masao Maruyama and music was done by Yoshihisa Hirano and Hideki Taniuchi Madhouse is the studio of this series and licensed by Manga Entertainment.

The original network is Nippon TV and the English network is ABC 2, YTV, Scream, Neon Alley, Adult Swim, and Animax. Game and anime film is also available for this series. There is a total of 37 episodes.
