“Following the judge’s decision to lift my conservatorship today, I’d want to thank my fans for their continued support and well wishes throughout this trying time. In addition, I’d like to thank my lawyer and my parents for their continuous support throughout the last nine years.” Bynes mentioned in her statement.

“For several years, I’ve been working hard to enhance my health so that I may live and work freely, and I’ll continue to prioritise my health in this chapter. I’m very pleased about my upcoming initiatives, particularly my scent collection, and will provide more details as soon as possible.”

Bynes was one of Hollywood’s most popular child stars, but she hasn’t seen on our screens in a long time. After a series of mental health and substance addiction concerns, she was placed under a temporary conservatorship in 2013. After years away from the spotlight, Bynes has spoken out to call for the end of her conservatorship.

The following month, the former child star took to Instagram to update followers on her impending court hearings and thank them for their support.

“Hello there, Instagram. Here’s Amanda Bynes, “In a video posted to the Instagram account @amanda.bynes1986 on March 9, the actor remarked.

“My court appearance is in two weeks. I’d like to express my gratitude to you all for your love and support. Goodbye, and good luck.”

Despite the fact that she hasn’t appeared in a film or television show in over a decade, the actress rose to prominence in the late 1990s as a child star on Nickelodeon’s sitcom All That before launching her own show, The Amanda Show, in which she hosted and starred in a series of sketches alongside Drake Bell and Josh Peck.

Fast forward to 2010, when Bynes played Marianne in Easy A alongside Emma Stone. In the same year, she announced an indefinite hiatus from acting owing to personal concerns.

Bynes is no longer subject to the restrictions imposed by a conservatorship. After a series of mental health and substance addiction concerns, the All That alum was placed under a temporary conservatorship in August 2013.

In 2014, Bynes demonstrated unusual behaviour on Twitter, accusing her father of abuse in a series of tweets; she then took back the comments, claiming she had a microchip implanted in her brain that prompted her to make the false accusations.

Bynes was placed on an involuntary emergency mental hold in a California institution shortly after. During that time, Bynes tweeted that she had been diagnosed as “bipolar and manic depressive,” while her attorney, citing client-attorney privacy, refused to comment on any medical difficulties or whether Bynes had actually been classified as bipolar.
